Writ Petition is filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2026 seeking extension/approval relating to Chanda Hussain Auliya Durgha Waqf, within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner 08.01.2026. 2.Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the said representation, the same is made by the members of the Committee to extend the tenure of the Adhoc Committee. It is stated that during the tenure, the Committee has been rendering service to the Waqf and managing the income of the Waqf.

3.When the matter came up for hearing, Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the Waqf Board will consider whether to extend the period of Adhoc Committee depending on the situation and also by duly considering the objections, if any received, in exercise of its power under Section 63 of

the Waqf Board Act, 1995 in accordance with law. 4.In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(i)The representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2026 shall be taken up for consideration by the first respondent and orders be passed in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of web order copy, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
