This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.720 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same against the petitioner.

2. Mr.P.Kannan, Sub-Inspector of Police, South Police Station is present. When the matter was taken up for hearing, on instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.720 of 2016 was completed and a charge sheet has been filed on 19.10.2016 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai, but the same has not been taken on file.

3. Recording the same, this petition is closed with further direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai to pass appropriate orders in the charge sheet in Crime No.720 of 2016 expeditiously, if not already passed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
