When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent / de-facto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. During the pendency of the proceedings, at the intervention of the of the Mediators and the Jamath elders, an

amicable settlement has been arrived at between the parties. A Joint Compromise Memo has been filed by them. In the said memorandum of compromise, the defacto complainant/second respondent has stated that the dispute has been amicably settled and he has no objection to withdraw the case pending against the petitioners in C.C.No.24 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam.

4. In view of the same, the charge sheet in C.C.No.24 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
