Rahini @ Ishwarya ... Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Revision Case - filed under Section 438 r/w Section 442 of BNSS, 2023, to set aside the order dated 04.02.2025 made in S.T.C.No. 2190 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam. In both cases:

For Petitioners : Mr.G.Vishnuram For Respondent : Party in person COMMONORDER The instant Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging order dated 19.06.2024 made in Criminal Appeal No.117 of 2023 on the file of the District and Sessions Court, Theni and the Criminal Revision Case is filed challenging the order dated 04.02.2025 made in S.T.C.No.2190 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam. 2.During the earlier hearing on 23.07.2025, the petitioner and the respondent reported that they have settled the matter amicably and the petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.4 lakhs as permanent alimony to the respondent and paid a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- by cash on that date. 2/5

3.Today also, the petitioner and the respondent are present in person before this Court.

4.Today, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) by cash to the respondent. The respondent has also received the same.

5.The respondent has further submitted that she has returned her sacred pendent (Mangalyam) to the petitioner.

6.In view of the settlement reached between the parties, the orders passed by the trial Court in the maintenance case as well as the domestic violence case are hereby set aside and the domestic violence case initiated by the respondent as against the respondent petitioner and his family members is closed.

7.The respondent is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited by the petitioner to the credit of D.V.C.No.19 of 2021 and S.T.C.No.2190 of 2023 to the tune of Rs.2,86,000/- and Rs.2,79,000/-, respectively. 3/5

8.It is made clear that the petitioner/husband shall not interfere with the respondent and her family members, if not, it will be viewed seriously. 9.In view of the above settlement, the Civil Revision Petition and the Criminal Revision Case are allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
