Respondents PRAYER : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,1971, praying to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order, dated 04.12.2024, made in W.P.(MD) No.28994 of 2024.

ORDER
This Contempt Petition is filed against the respondents, alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.28994 of 2024, dated 04.12.2024.
2. The operative portion of the order passed in the Writ Petition reads as follows :
''4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's patta land and lay a road in the property belongs to the adjacent owner namely, Chinna Thambi and Periya Thambi. If any road is to be laid in the petitioner's patta land, the respondents are directed to lay a road under due process of law.''
3. It is the case of the petitioner that as per the order passed in the Writ Petition, the respondents have not conducted survey and no steps have been taken to lay road, by following due process of law.
4. The learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the land, required for laying road, has already been identified and proposals have been sent to the Commissioner of Land Administration for issuance of proper notification for acquisition.
5. The said statement made by the learned Additional Advocate General is recorded and the Contempt Petition is closed. 30.06.2025 NCC :
