PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation, dated 28.06.2018 to grant permission to conduct the "Kovil Thiruvizha"as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Aadal Padal" on 25.07.2018 at about 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in temple namely "Arulmigu Shree Karumariamman Kovil" at Ayyampattinam, Jegathapattinam post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

******** This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2018 to grant permission to conduct the "Kovil Thiruvizha"as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Aadal Padal" on 25.07.2018 at about 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in temple namely "Arulmigu Shree Karumariamman Kovil"

at Ayyampattinam, Jegathapattinam post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 28.06.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting "Kovil Thiruvizha" as well as other programmes and also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to conduct the "Aadal Padal" on 25.07.2018 at about 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in temple namely "Arulmigu Shree Karumariamman Kovil" at Ayyampattinam, Jegathapattinam post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 23.07.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
