For Respondent : Mr.M.Ganesan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.25 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as Accused No.1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.25 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that earlier the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.2000 from the defacto complainant. On 06.03.2021, at about 06.46, the defacto complainant asked the petitioner to repay the aforesaid money, at that time, the petitioner said to have abused the defacto complainant by using filthy language and also criminally intimidated her. Hence, the present complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police strongly opposed this petition on the ground that the three previous cases have been registered against the petitioner in Crime Nos.60 of 2019, 78 of 2020 and 51 of 2021. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having three previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
