Prayer : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents under the provisions of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 for willful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7176 of 2023 dated 14.06.2023.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondents for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7176 of 2023 dated 14.06.2023.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation is transferred to the CCB, Madurai City and a case has been registered in Crime No.16 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC.

3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
