O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give necessary police protection to petitioners and their life and limp on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 07.04.2017.

2. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, All Women Police, Madurai Town have registered a case in Crime No.2 of 2017 on 11.02.2017 under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b) and 506(1) IPC against Saravanan and his family members. While so, it is alleged by the petitioner that her husband Saravanan and his mother are very frequently harassing the petitioner and threatening her by asking her to withdraw the complaint in Crime No.2 of 2017. In this regard, the petitioner had given a representation to the 2nd respondent, based on which, a petition enquiry has been conducted in CSR No.243 of 2017 and the same was closed on 26.03.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, this petition is closed. However, if there is any fresh harassment to the petitioner from the accused in Crime No.2 of 2017, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach AWPS, Madurai Town and the said Police is directed to enquire into the complaint and if it is found that the accused are threatening the petitioner, steps may be taken to cancel their bail.
