O R D E R

The petitioner based on purchase in and by registered document to an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents and also pursuant to survey, inadvertent errors being rectified by a registered rectification deed 30.11.2022, has sought for survey. The petitioner has made an application as early as on 29.02.2024 and the same has been kept pending over an year. The petitioner has also produced the FMB which indicates that the petitioner's property is an extent of 1 ares which is equivalent to 2 1⁄2 cents purchased by him under the registered sale deed. The mistake in the survey number has also been specifically rectified by way of rectification deed in the year 2022. Therefore, the authorities cannot have any impediment for postponing the survey based on the petitioner's application dated 29.02.2024.

2.Considering that the petitioner's application has been given more than a year back, the respondents 2 and 3 shall take immediate steps to conduct survey and dispose of the application of the petitioner. The said exercise shall be carried out after giving notice to all the parties concerned and within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
