ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy, to dispose the case in C.C.No.397 of 2024, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court
2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complaint in this case and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.84 of 2023 has been registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C. Thereafter, the respondent police has filed the final report and the case is pending in C.C.No.397 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Trichy without commencing the trial.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case is now posted for framing of charges and they will cooperate for the speedy disposal of the case by producing witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.
4. Considering the prayer of the petitioner and the case is also pending from the year 2023, this Court is inclined to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy to dispose the case in C.C.No.397 of 2024 as early as possible, without granting any long adjournments beyond fifteen 2/4
days.
5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
