ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Trichy, to dispose the case in C.C.No.377 of 2024, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complaint in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.86 of 2023 has been registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, the respondent police has filed the final report and the Trial Court also taken cognizance in C.C.No.377 of 2024, but no trial has been commenced so far. Therefore, she has filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, they registered a case in Crime No.86 of 2023 for the offences Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, they filed the final report and the Trial Court also taken cognizance in C.C.No.377 of 2024. Now the case is posted for framing of charges and the respondent will cooperate for speedy disposal of the case, and they will produce the witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.

4. Since the F.I.R was registered in the year 2023 and now the case is pending for framing of charges, it is for the Trial Court to conduct the trial and dispose of the case as early as possible. In view of the same, this Court directs the Trial Court, namely, the Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Trichy to dispose of the case in C.C.No.377 of 2024 as early as possible without 2/4

giving any long adjournments beyond fifteen days.

5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
