ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 24.02.2021, wherein the petitioner 1/3
has sought for the survey of the subject property in order to fix the boundaries.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was originally an ancestral property, which is said to have vested with the father of the petitioner. The petitioner made an application before the respondents requesting for surveying the property and for fixing the boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.
3. Heard Mr.C.Gunasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 24.02.2021 and take a decision with regard to survey of the subject property within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent enclosing relevant documents along with a copy of this order.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
