O R D E R

The criminal original petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in Calendar Case No.89 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Madurai.

2. The petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.89 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Madurai and they are facing trial for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(i) of I.P.C., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The case in C.C.No.89 of 2015 was filed at the instance of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent /de-facto complainant, who is the wife of the first petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for final hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the matter has been compromised among the parties and even the de-facto complainant is also willing to withdraw the complaint.

4. At the request of the leaned counsel for the petitioners, the matter is posted today for enabling the parties to appear before this Court. Today, the petitioners as well as the de-facto complainant are present and they have been identified by the Inspector of Police viz., R.Bhuvaneswari, AWPS, Town, Madurai City, who is also present before this Court.

5. Recording the Joint Compromise Memo filed by the parties, the complaint against the petitioners in C.C.No.89 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level), Madurai is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the Joint Compromise Memo, dated 11.03.2019 shall form part of the order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
