This Criminal Original petition is filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.211 of 2016, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vaidpatti Police Station, Madurai District, as against the petitioner/accused No.4 alone.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is stated that final report was filed deleting the name of the petitioner from the charge and the case was taken on file in P.R.C.No.1 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti.

4. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
