For Respondent : Mr.M.Ganesan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 42 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A6, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,294(b),323, 324, 506(ii), 379 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity the petitioner along with other accused said to have attacked the defacto complainant/Vasudevan with aruval and also took away 3 sovereigns of gold chain.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein is arrayed as A6 and no role has been played by the petitioner in the alleged occurrence.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner actively involved in the alleged occurrence and one previous case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.298 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341,294(b) and 506 (ii) of IPC.

5. Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
