Respondents Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 1st respondent police that not to harass the petitioners and their family members in the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the 2nd respondent and to pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in these facts and circumstances of the present case. For Petitioner : Mr.M.S.Jeyekarthik For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for R1.

ORDER

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner borrowed money from the second respondent and he also repaid a portion of the same. But claiming exorbitant interest, they made a complaint. Police has no role to play in the transaction.

The learned Public Prosecutor would submit that Suresh has lodged a complaint against the petitioner stating that he has committed job racketing in respect of which he has also appeared before the Enquiry Officer on 03.04.2021 and also has undertaken to appear before the Enquiry Officer on 12.04.2021. 3.Since serious allegations have been made against the petitioners, they are directed to co-operate with the Enquiry Officer and in the event of any case being registered, the respondent shall follow the guidelines issued, in D.K.Basu case.

4. With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
