This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police and his officials not to harass the Petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the State and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioners and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioners were called for enquiry in respect of a complaint given by one Saranya/defacto complainant and that the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioners and he further submitted that the petition enquiry has been conducted and closed. He also produced a copy of the letter, which was submitted by the defacto complainant before the respondent, in which it is stated that no further action could be taken on her complaint. He further submitted that since the complaint has been closed, there is no scope of harassment, as alleged by the petitioner.
