ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing his sub-division application to be disposed of by the second respondent.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering limited scope of the relief sought for, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The petitioner based on a registered settlement deed in his favour and also patta mutated in his name by application dated 28.01.2025 sought for subdivision.

5. The petitioner merely seeks orders being passed on the said 2/4

application for subdivision, considering that the petitioner has sought for subdivision only on 28.01.2025, it would suffice to give a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 28.01.2025, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
