ORDER
Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission to the petitioner to organise the Tamil Nadu Cultural Heritage Programme on outdoor ground, Thamukkam, Madurai on 07.03.2026 considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the 4th respondent police by his proceedings dated 02.03.2026 has already given his No Objection for conduct of the said program on 07.03.2026 from 10.00 a.m to 10.00 p.m.
3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner drew my attention to the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 28.02.2026 where it is made clear that necessary permission should be obtained from the police department.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the fact that the 1st respondent had directed the petitioner to obtain necessary permission from the Police Department, it is seen that already the 4th respondent had given an NOC in this regard. The petitioner is directed to place the NOC issued by the 4th respondent, dated 02.03.2026 before the 1st respondent, and the 1st respondent on receipt of the same, is directed to pass necessary orders with respect to the grant of permission to conduct cultural programme on 07.03.2026 from 10.00 a.m to 10.00 p.m.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
