Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned I Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Camp at Melur, Madurai District to expedite the trial in S.C.No.627 of 2017 within time frame as may be fixed by this court.

ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned I Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Camp at Melur, Madurai District to expedite the trial in S.C.No.627 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the crime is of the year 2016 and the final report was also filed in the year 2017. Even after a lapse of four years, there is no progress in the trial and hence, the petitioner filed the present petition before this Court seeking direction, since the petitioner is facing continuous trouble.

3.Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Camp at Melur, Madurai District to conclude the trial proceedings, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and send a compliance report to the Registry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
