ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed praying to direct the respondent to conduct a fair investigation and also to file a final report in Crime No.21 of 2016. within a stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though an FIR was registered against the accused in this case on 13.09.2016, for the offence under Sections 465, 468 and 471 of IPC., in Crime No.21 of 2016, by the respondent herein, there is no progress in the investigation in this case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that investigation was completed in this case and the final report is yet to be filed.

4. The Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent, to file the final report before the jurisdictional Court, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, since investigation was already completed.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
