This petition has been filed under Section 439(1)(b) of Cr.P.C., seeking a direction to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramnad in Crl.M.P.No. 2122 of 2016 dated 09.09.2016 and permit the Petitioner to sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate Paramakudi instead of respondent police. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner being required by the respondent Police to produce his passport, the petitioner is unable to comply with the condition imposed by the Honourable Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ramanathapuram in his order passed in Crl.M.P.No.2122 of 2016, dated 09.09.2016.

with the petition, this Court is not inclined to accept the above submissions.

5.Accordingly, the petition for modification shall stand dismissed. The petitioner is now required to appear before the respondent Police daily from 05.10.2016 until further orders. The respondent Police shall not require the petitioner to produce his passport.
