ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting Kabaddi Tournament at K. Karisalkulam, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District from 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025 on the basis of the application, dated 26.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the resident of K. Karisalkulam, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District and also a Kabaddi player. The villagers have decided to conduct Kabaddi Tournament on 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025 in their village. In this regard, they have sent a representation to the respondents on 26.02.2025 and the same was not considered. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner to conduct Kabaddi Tournament and the same is under consideration. They will pass appropriate orders by imposing relevant conditions.

4.This Court had heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider his representation, dated 26.02.2025 and the same is pending before the 2nd respondent, this Court hereby directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders for conducting Kabaddi Tournament at K. Karisalkulam, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District on 22.03.2025 and 23.03.2025, on or before 19.03.2025.
