Seeking to set aside the order dated 08.03.2024 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, dismissing the petitions in Cr.M.P. Page No. 1 of 4

Nos.1444 and 1483 of 2023 filed by the petitioner for reopening of the evidence and recalling P.Ws.1 to 3 for cross-examination in S.T.C.No.408 of 2022, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the trial in S.T.C.No.408 of 2022 had been completed and that the petitioner was convicted on 22.04.2024, and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
