ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.02.2021, wherein, the petitioners are seeking for transfer of patta in their name with respect to the subject property.

2.The case of the petitioners is that the subject property was inherited by the husband of the first petitioner and father of the petitioners 2 to 4, namely, Chennian. The said Chennian died on 04.07.2015 and the property was inherited by the petitioners. 3.The petitioners made a representation to the respondents seeking for the transfer of patta in their names. According to the petitioners, consent was also given by the other brothers of late Chennian to grant the patta in favour of the petitioners. W.P.(MD).No.8309 of 2021 present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Heard Mr.V.Janakiramulu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners, on 04.02.2021, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The petitioner shall make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
