For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- To enlarge the Petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest in connection with Cr.no.229 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 379 of I.P.C., and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, in Crime No.229 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.5860 of 2020 Government Advocate (Criminal Side) states that the quantity of contraband involved in this case is huge and the petitioner is also having bad antecedents.

4. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
