Prayer in CRL RC(MD).1343 of 2024 :

This Criminal Miscellaneous Case filed under Section 438 r/w 442 BNSS praying to set aside the condition directing her to deposit 20% of the compensation amount i.e., a sum of Rs.1,30,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur within one month, vide order dated 08.11.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.6294 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.216 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, Madurai District.

ORDER

The above petition has been filed seeking orders to extend the time to comply with the direction of this Court made in Crl.R.C.(MD)No.1343 of 2024 on 16.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner was directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount before the concerned Court within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner received the order copy on 17.02.2025 and one month period will be expired on 17.03.2025 and seeks 15 days further time to comply with the said direction.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant time 2/3

till 28.03.2025 and no further time will be granted. Accordingly, time is extended to comply with the direction of this Court dated 16.12.2024 till 28.03.2025.
