Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 11.02.2021 requesting the 2nd respondent to issue patta to the lands bearing S.No.169 measuring 3 acres situated at Thuppampatti Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul, which was allotted to the petitioner under Thadco Scheme, within a time limit fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 11.02.2021, wherein the petitioner seeks for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

2.Heard Mr.K.Periasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Narayana Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.It is seen from records that the subject property was allotted by the third respondent in favour of the petitioner and the third respondent has also given a No Objection Certificate to the Tahsildar, requesting the Tahsildar to issue patta to twenty persons in whose favour the land was assigned. The petitioner is one of the 1/3

assignees to whom the benefit of the said No Objection Certificate will enure.

4.The petitioner has, thereafter, made a representation to the second respondent seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 11.02.2021 in line with the assignment made in favour of the petitioner by the third respondent and No Objection Certificate given by the third respondent, dated 27.05.2014 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all relevant documents and a copy of this order.

7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
