Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025 and appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds consequent upon the death of his father, late Palani, while he was in service with the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC), Kumbakonam Region.

3. Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, would submit that the name of the petitioner has already been empanelled and he is in the panel at Sl.No.248 and that as and when his turn comes for consideration for appointment under the scheme of compassionate appointment, the same would be considered. 4. Be that as it may, the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 18.12.2025 is admittedly pending for consideration before the second respondent. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 18.12.2025 submitted by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and communicate the orders passed thereon to the petitioner. No costs.
