Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner in Na.Ka.B4.3489/2021 within the time limit as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a limited purpose of early disposal of the petitioner's statutory appeal pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The petitioner, aggrieved by the issuance of patta in favour of the father of the respondents 2 to 5, has preferred the statutory appeal before the first respondent in Na.Ka.B4.3489/2021 on 01.02.2021. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said statutory appeal.

3. Heard Mr.K.Manivanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's statutory appeal is disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal filed in Na.Ka.B4.3489/2021 within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 5 and any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
