O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The only relief sought in the main writ petition is that the petitioner's appeal petition as detailed in the prayer should be disposed of within a time frame.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent states that the appeal will be positively disposed of within a period of two weeks from today and that no extension of time will be sought for.

4. Recording the said submission, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal within a period of two weeks from today. The writ petition is disposed of with this direction. I make it clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is entirely for the appellate authority to take decision on merits. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
