When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.199 of 2015 was completed and charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur, on 17.12.2015, but the same was returned for certain compliances on 15.12.2016. The police have complied with the returns and they have re-presented the charge sheet on 20.12.2016, but the same has not yet been taken on file. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur, to pass appropriate orders on the charge sheet filed in Crime No.199 of 2015, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already passed.
