Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to Suspend the Sentence imposed against the petitioner in S.C.No.129 of 2017 dated 11.2.2020 on the file of the Learned the Additional District and Sessions Judge Cum Special Court Under the EC Act Cases, Thanjavur and enlarge the Petitioner on bail pending disposal of appeal.

To call for the records relating to the judgment in S.C.No.129/2017 dated 11.02.2020 on the file of the Additional 1/3
District and Sessions Judge Cum Special Court Under the EC Act Cases, Thanjavur and set aside the same and allow this Criminal Appeal.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.MAHESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.CHANDRA SEKAR, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM.,J) This Petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed by this Court, dated 17.02.2021 in Crl.M.P(MD)No.7406 of 2020 in Crl.A (MD)No.132 of 2020.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner would state that the Petitioner has been complying with the conditions from 01.03.2021 regularly. In view of the pandemic situation, it is very difficult for the Petitioner to stay at Ramanathapuram to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court.
4.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would state that the Petitioner is a native of Thanjavur District and he is now staying at Ramanathapuram to comply with the conditions. 5.In the light of the above submissions made on either side, the original condition imposed by this Court is modified, directing the Petitioner to appear before the Committal Court on the first working day of every English Calendar month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
