Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.313 of 2016 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent police to any other independent agency or CBCID officer under the direct supervision of the 1st respondent and further to file the final report in the said case, within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer investigation of the case in Crime No.313 of 2016 and to file the final report, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, based on instructions submitted that already investigation has completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Usilampatti and the same has been taken on file as Calendar Case No.15 of 2017.

3. In view of the fact that already investigation has completed and final report has been filed before the concerned Court. At this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
