O R D E R
The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner during the conduct of preparation and procession of pots to the temple in the Panguni Uthiram festival by considering the petitioner representation dated 11.02.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Mr. B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of some rival claim by some of the parties, the representation that was made by the petitioner is kept pending. 2/4
4. The third respondent herein is directed to complete the enquiry process within a week, from the date of appearance of the parties. By summoning the petitioner and as well as the rival parties, depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, further steps may be taken either by the petitioner or by the competent authority.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
