ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 302 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.113 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners reiterated all the contentions set out in the memorandum of grounds. He would point out that the deceased was done to death only by Nagarajan and that there is absolutely no basis for implicating the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) at the outset pointed out that the second petitioner Chitradevi is not shown as accused as of now. This submission is recorded. The first petitioner is said to have been implicated based on the information given by the first accused.

5. This is a case of murder. Since the investigation is still pending, it would not be proper to tie the hands of the investigation by granting anticipatory bail to the 1st petitioner.

6. Therefore, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
