ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to mutate the patta for T.S.No.287 situated at Balusamy Street, Sevalur Village Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, in the name of the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he purchased the land in Old Survey No. 573/9, New T.S. No. 284, to an extent of 0.0087.0 ares, vide registered sale deed dated 11.09.2000. However, while subdividing the said land, it was divided into two plots, namely, T.S. Nos. 284 and 287. According to the petitioner, there is no pathway at all. The said T.S. No. 287 ends at T.S. No. 284, and there is no further extension of any pathway. Therefore, it cannot be considered as a pathway.

3. Hence, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the sale deed dated 11.09.2000, as well as the previous sale deeds and other relevant documents. The respondent shall consider the extent of the properties stated in the sale deed and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
