ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A3, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.91 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 12.04.2022, the respondent police received secret information and based on the same, they went to the occurrence place, at that time, A1 and A2 were in illegal possession of 4 kg of ganja. On seeing the police, they tried to escape from the place. But the police arrested them. Hence, the case.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available in records.

4.It is a case of NDPS and the accused persons were in illegal possession of 4 kg of ganja. Hence, this Court is not inclined to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.5110 of 2023 grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
