This revision is filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Thanjaur to expedite the proceedings of the Election O.P.No.45 of 2020 within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is submitted that the even though the Election O.P was filed in the year 2020, the same is pending without any progress on the side of the respondent.

4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Thanjavur to expedite the proceedings of Election 2/4

O.P.No.45 of 2020 and dispose of the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
