This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb in considering her representation dated 10.06.2016.

2. Today, Mr.S.Namasivayam, Special Sub Inspector of Police, is present before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that there are two cases pending against this petitioner, namely, Crime Nos.19/2015 and 183/2016 under Section 420 IPC for job racketing. Therefore, in order to cover up those cases, the petitioner has come up with false allegations and sought police protection.
