The petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on his representation dated 12.03.2024, seeking cancellation of patta in respect of S.No.9/2C,and to re-issue patta in the name of the petitioner being the legal heir of Meenambal, original owner of S.Nos.9/1 and S.No.9/2, through a registered Will dated 30.04.1985.

2.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 12.03.2024, within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
