O R D E R

Seeking a direction to the the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.735 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police within the stipulated period of time, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. It is admitted that the case was registered in Crime No.735 of 2016 on 14.10.2016 and it is also an accident case. The complainant himself has not stated about the particulars of the offending vehicle.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation is going on and the CCTV report is also perused and he seeks six months time to complete the investigation and also file the final report in this case.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a

direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.735 of 2016 and file a final report, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
