O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 16.03.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents no.4 to 6 and for that, he sent a complaint dated 16.03.2024, but the same has not been considered. Earlier, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.67 of 2024 was registered against the respondents no.4 to 6. However, now they threatened the petitioner to withdraw the complaint and therefore, he sent a complaint dated 16.03.2024, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that no any complaint received from the petitioner as alleged in the petition and if the petitioner give any complaint, then the same will be considered in accordance with law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.4 and 6 inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a complaint dated 16.03.2024 for police protection as against the respondents no.4 to 6, but the 3rd respondent denied the receipt of the complaint and the date of the complaint is also 16.03.2024. Therefore, it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to approach the 3rd respondent by way of fresh complaint. In view of the same, preserving the liberty of the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. 07.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Mac Page No. 3 of 4
