ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is said to have participated in the selection process for the post of Village Assistant. The petitioner claims that she is a destitute widow and having responsibility to maintain her two children also. On this ground, it would not be proper for this Court to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Village Assistant.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader informs the Court that the petitioner's application will be processed along with that of other eligible candidates and decision will be taken in the matter on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks.

4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
