Seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.351 of 2016, dated 14.08.2016 and to file the final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that the documents were collected in this case and it was sent to the expert and the investigation is pending and he seeks six months time to complete the investigation and also file the final report in this case.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.351 of 2016 and file a final report, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
