Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from erecting any High rise EB Tower in the land of petitioner in S.No.108/2, 108/5, 108/8 situated at Thekkampatti Village, Andipatti Taluk as per their earlier markings without considering the objections/representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2024.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel for TANTRANSCO clarified that at present, there is no proposal to erect any high rise electric tower as apprehended by the petitioner. The said submission is placed on record. If TANTRANSCO intends to put up any electric tower in the petition mentioned land, the petitioner will be duly informed about the same in writing so that he can avail appropriate remedy under law. 2/4

2.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
