PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying for a direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation in connection with the Crime No.75 of 2012 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District and subsequently, transfered on administrative ground to the third respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Thuckkalay Police Station, Kanyakumari District and conclude the same within a time frame as specified by this Honourable Court and file a final report thereupon before the Court concerned forthwith.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation in connection with the Crime No.75 of 2012 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District and file a final report before the Court concerned forthwith. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, would submit that the respondents require four months time to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.75 of 2012.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.75 of 2012, before the Court concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
