O R D E R
When this Court was about to dismiss this petition on merits, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. Permission is granted. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, Koodakovil Police Station, Madurai District, to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.276 of 2016 and during investigation, if it is found that the allegations are false, it is needless to state that the case against the accused shall be dropped. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
