PRAYER: Criminal Original petitions have been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family to their life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.02.2025. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 03.02.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, the private respondents have threatened the petitioner and his family members, therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent police seeking police protection on 03.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that earlier based on the 2/5

representation of the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed on 23.01.2025. Again for the same set of allegations, the petitioner has sent a representation on 03.02.2025 and the same is under consideration and it will be considered and disposed of within a period of 15 days.

4.Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration before the 3rd respondent, he is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose the same, after affording opportunity to both parties, in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

5.With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
